THE FIRST LOOK
Seeing each other before the Ceremony:
What to take into consideration...
Now this is not the traditional way of doing things.. but having done this for several years...and seeing what works the best for both the couple and photographer - these are the positives about planning a "first look" beforehand.
When we do the first look we do not let the parents or bridal party around.. this is an intimate special moment for the bride and groom only. We blindfold groom.. bring to bride...both eyes closed... if inside.. special music can be playing..
and the photographer says go and candidly captures this special moment.. having videography here is also great!
I've never seen as many emotional moments as when the couples have a "first look" -- We think its a MORE emotional moment than even the walking down of the aisle..
Now besides that special emotion these are the other positives.
1. You are more fresh looking...
2. Seeing the groom sometimes is the soothing factor if the bride is a little stressed that morning.
3. Photographer has about an hour to walk you around - take you to different unique locations... etc. verses the 5 minutes normally reserved for the couple at the altar area after all the family pictures have been taken
4. Bridal Party Pictures.. completely can be done before hand
5. Family pictures done before also
6. Family and Friends are not pressuring you to hurry and finish pictures... because the guests are waiting.
6. All your guests are not waiting for the 1- 11/2 hrs (normally minimum if you want any good pics) or more at the reception.
The negatives are...
1. Tradition - If you like the traditional way... This is not traditional
Thats about the only negative about that.

Even when you get bride - and girls and then guys.. it doesnt matter how many you get beforehand. You still have to do family and complete bridal party.. and couple pictures afterwards.. No matter what anyone says.... its always about 1- 11/2 hours after Ceremony ends.. for the pictures to be completed...

2nd photographer...
When doing traditional and candid photography.. Jeremy is great at both.. if you like the candid look.. We highly recommend 2 photographers.. there are certain pictures.. you have to make sure you get.. the 2nd photographer
is the one getting a lot of the candid shots.. Jeremy does really good at trying to get both styles from the 1 photographer packages.. but you will be able to see a big difference with having the 2 photographers.. and all angles are covered..
If you are on a short time schedule.. and you only have a couple hours to get everything.. having the 2 photographers can "cover more ground" more quickly. Its highly recommended in those situations.

The Engagement Book - ARTISTIC STYLE - GUEST SIGNING BOOK
This takes the place of the signing mat or the traditional guest book. Its a hard cover book that has the choice
of linen, regular or glossy pages - the front cover is custom designed.. We try to use one of your favorites on the front.
And normally each page is custom designed with different engagement pictures from your engagement picture session with spacing for your guests to sign. We have 2 sizes - an 8X10 book (up to 150 guests)and a 10X12 (150 guests+)

Bridal Portrait Packages
With any package that includes the Bridal Portait Session - You do have the option to use One Source Weddings hair and makeup services at no additional charge for the bridal portraits..
You also will have the options of using one of our silk bouquets for your bridal portraits.
Bridal portraits should be scheduled 30-60 days before the wedding day if you are planning on getting an enlargement to display at the reception.
We highly recommend going to a different outdoors location if possible.. or anywhere of your choosing is fine.
We are very careful with your dress, but do not guarantee that you wont need to spot clean the bottom. But we really don't have a lot of issues with that..
