Now hiring for weddings starting in May

We have 2 different positions.. see below for pay info and descriptions.. ..

Let me say if you are only wanting to direct people and "plan" their wedding.. Our company is not for you..  We work incredibly hard and long hour weekends..  sometimes within 2 days of setup/wedding/cleanup - 25-30 hours..  so be prepared for the long hours..

You are not allowed to leave early.. this is when it gets hard.. after the wedding is over and we have to clean up. But nobody gets to opt out of this .. especially if you are a newbie..  Unless planned ahead of time . for just setup or just cleanup - don't even think to ask to leave early.. that could affect your job security very quickly..

No swearing.. - We have fun at weddings.. and our crew loves what we doing.. but that is one thing OSW wont put up with. We have a lot of stress around us at weddings and extreme time deadlines.. and swearing.. is negative and is non-productive.. so we dont allow it.

Wedding Planners / Coordinators.. no experience necessary.. just commitment to hard work.. and commitment to the One Source Weddings Vision..

We require if you are wanting to be a wedding planner/coordinator.. that you do an internship with us.

Our internship requirement is 50 hours - during which time you can quit at anytime if you feel the work is to stressful or too hard..

(This happens a lot) - You can quit and there are no hard feelings and no obligations..

The internship pay is $5 per hour during the 50 hour requirement.

At the end of the 50 intern hours.. One Source Weddings will give you an evaluation and if we feel you have the potential and the "want to" to be a part of our team.. you will then go to being an assistant coordinator - $8 per hour. And then you will get raises based on your performance.. and the amount of responsibility you can handle.

Full Time Coordinators... will be paid -according to what your skill level and responsibilities will be for that wedding. You must know all the details of that particular wedding and how to make it work..  All details must be able to be taken care of on the day of wedding... How to lead and delegate to your team at that wedding... You will want the teams respect and cooperation -- so during your assistant coordinating time.. it very important to be respectful of who is in charge and know that one day you could be teaching and training your own team.    You must be available to have meetings with the bride during the week.. and the week of the wedding there are a lot of responsibilities that you will be in charge of that you must be able to deal with and to handle in a way that really represents One Source Weddings.

You really do have to prove yourself... if your wanting to be a wedding planner.. Wendy is very easy going.. but she gives you that opportunity.. to excel and prove you can enhance One Source Weddings with you being there.. or she gives you that opportunity to crash and burn.. its up to you... We have a zero policy on crew division. Know that Wendy is the boss and be respectful and no "talking behind" anyone's back will be tolerated.  With this company, with our team, it is so important that we work smoothly together and as a complete team.  If any one person is causing division in the group that person will be immediately asked to leave and not return.. We have a very stressful job and these things do not enhance the group it will tear it apart.. zero tolerance of this.  A couple hints.. don't come into our crew and act like you know it all.. don't come in talking a lot.. (this doesn't mean you cant talk) just listen..... Listen to others around you and pay attention to how they tell you to set up the design.. and how to do it...  We love our coordinators giving opinions and taking charge.. and stretching their potential.. but remember you are not coming into our crew as a coordinator.. even if you have opinions and great ideas.. the right time will present itself.. remember we don't know who you are either.. and we are getting used to you.. -- Ask questions... learn learn learn.. don't be afraid to mess up.. but we would rather you didn't mess up.. so listen and make sure its right the first time.. we normally don't have a lot of extra time at weddings to fix stuff.

We are a growing wedding company, One of the best up and coming wedding companies in TN. And the crew will represent and reflect who and what we are.. We want the best crew for the best company.. We want you to be apart of a growing company and we want you to enjoy being a part of such a creative company. These are all notes to take into consideration before calling us.

Ok that said... Give us a call / Or Email.. !!!

You just want to work at our weddings - No wanting to be a wedding planner/coordinator
