Positives. They did let us come in on Friday and decorate.
Negatives: It was one of the worst experiences for my coordinators working with that churches
coordinator.. she was very traditional and wouldn't listen or even acted like she cared what the bride and groom
wanted. Wanted everything her way.. Rude and short - I would highly recommend when you sign on with the church to use our coordinator and not the churches offered coordinator. The church also has to be cleared by 2:00 because they have a service (in this portion) on Saturday night. We need 1 hour to clean up.. please be aware of the that.

-Beautiful Sanctuary -
Reception area turned out beautiful - see above.
I would much rather do an evening wedding here than a afternoon. -
The lights and the walls are the negatives - but this is a church fellowship hall -
not a banquet room.
But I believe we turned this into a beautiful reception.
The church provides folding chairs and rectangle tables.
Also, a very large kitchen.
Above setup was for 100 guests.
Again, it cold easily accommodate250 guests.
If you rent this please request the full day of Friday as part of the rental agreement if possible.
If you are doing a complicated setup (ceiling decor) we need at least a 10 - 18 window of decor time.
We were not allowed in until 5:00 P.M. on Friday to start decorating - Friday was a late night.
But that's what you hire us for...so YOU can rest!

Positives: The priest was very nice that rented out the location. The church held quite a few people..
Drawbacks: With the religion - we had to have the priest come and move the special pictures of some saints - You cant hardly tell it from the picture - but the painting on the front wall is of Jesus dying on the cross.. at the base of the painting is a skull. Its a very important painting and can not be moved or covered.
I did not like the aisle drapes blocking the middle aisle - there is plenty of room on the outside aisles - but I believe aisle chair bouquets would be a better fit here.
Now this picture was taken ( I think) in 2003 - The church may have made some changes and I know they were planning on building a fellowship hall - which would allow for a reception - at the time of this picture they did not have a fellowship hall...

Positives: Absolutely beautiful location!!!! Beauty Beauty Beauty. Has a piano on site.
I think I do like the table draped with the satin fabric.. it doesnt take away from the surroundings..
but it can add a touch of color.. or that extra little something to make it more weddingnish..
Drawbacks: 4 hours.. Big time restraint - Make sure to take advantage of the bridal portrait session. Do not plan an any complicated decoration setups. Simple here is better. - Emily has mentioned that she doesn't like all the silk petals or the vases with water, even though we are following the rules.. you may have a problem if you are wanting this setup.. A lot of
the brides had mentioned that they did not have good experiences when dealing with the staff.. not anything techinal..just
not very nice... But I think the location is worth the trouble.
You most likely will not be able to get the cylinders with water.. but the petals are silk. And we do clean up every one of them by hand. It will normally take us about 1 hour to do cleanup .. so please make sure you do allow extra time for that.
