One Source Weddings is quickly becoming the training grounds for a lot of wedding designers all over the world.
We teach wall draping, ceiling draping, guest table setups, our most popular centerpiece arrangements,
we teach ceremony setups and aisle decor, How to take a good picture of your work, and how to price your product...and much more..
We started the workshops because one day my husband and I were sitting down and we were discussing how difficult it was when we first started to try
to find out where to get wholesale products and what are the best products to buy that will be worth the money...and how is it done... we had no one to help us out..
So we wanted to try something new at the beginning of 2009 in where we shared our skills and our knowledge on our wedding designs... and we are open to teach it all!
We have had attendees from Africa, The Virgin Islands, England.. and every state in the United States attend...
We love teaching and we love meeting new designers from all over.. and its a blast... and we have great testimonials from past attendees!

"Hello Wendy, My experience at One Source Weddings was absolutely amazing! The workshop met all my expectations - and they were high. I have been doing weddings for a few years working on favors, decorations, coordinating and planning, it is one thing to look at and copy the look of pictures in magazines and websites such as OSW and it is totally another to know and understand the techniques used to pull those designs together. There is a saying " if you give a person a fish, they eat once, however if you teach a person to fish they never go hungry". Thank you for teaching me how to fish LOL. Schedule of all workshops in 2010
FRIDAY
Friday we are starting at 9:00 a.m.
9:00-10:30 Introductions and Story of how we started and learning everyone else's story.
10:30 - 12:30 Basic Wall Draping, Swag Draping on the backdrop or other backdrop additions
Basic Up lighting - LED lights and how to use them
Source 4 Light Basics a little about GOBOS
Entry Drape - This is learning on a smaller scale how to drape the ceilings - But this is also the technique for a chuppah
(this is if time is available and everyone has finished their project)
12:30-1:30 - You will be released to go to any of the local areas for lunch (We will provide you with a detailed map)
1:30-3:30 Sweetheart Table setups / Cake Table Setups OR chuppah setup (which will depend on what the class whats to learn.. the majority rules :-) )
3:30-5:00 How to price and sell your product, conducting an appointment, sales tip
5:00 End of Day
You will also be receiving on Friday - a $50 coupon towards our downloadable training videos (To learn more at the hotel if you want! :-))
Wholesale Information will be handed out on Friday also.
SATURDAY
Saturday we will be starting at 8:00 a.m.
Ceiling Draping will begin from 8:00 to 11:30
11:30 - 12:30 How to begin or enhance your website, blogging, and how to take great pictures of your decorations
12:30-1:30 - You will be released to go to any of the local areas for lunch (We will provide you with a detailed map)
1:30-2:30 - How to sell your package.. appointment procedure tips.
2:30 - 4:00 We will give you the option to learn a few flower arrangements, tunnel, chuppahs ... etc...
you will have time for 2 more projects.. Again the majority rules on what is to be taught being that we customize each workshop to fit what you are wanting to learn.
